The ARRA Group, a boutique healthcare recruitment firm, has been retained by our client, a leading Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), to hire their next Chief of Primary Care.  This Health Center is committed to providing comprehensive, high-quality healthcare services to underserved communities. They strive to deliver patient-centered care with a focus on addressing the diverse healthcare needs of our patients.

The ideal Medical Director will be a compassionate and knowledgeable physician who is committed to providing exceptional primary care services within a federally qualified health center setting. This position requires expertise in managing a wide range of medical conditions, including the unique needs of psychiatric patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and oversight to the primary care team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplanig team including psychiatry, nursing, social workers, and specialists, to coordinate comprehensive care for patients with complex medical and psychiatric conditions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, develop and implement clinical protocols and best practices to enhance the quality and efficiency of primary care services.
  • Supervise and mentor medical staff, including physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants, to promote professional development and clinical excellence.
  • Provide direct patient care, including comprehensive medical assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care, with a focus on managing both medical and psychiatric conditions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date Epic medical records in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
  • Actively participate in meetings, committees, and other activities to contribute to the overall success and growth of the health center.

Requirements
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school
  • Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related specialty
  • Active, unrestricted medical license in Ohio
  • DEA registration and prescribing privileges
  • Experience working in a federally qualified health center or similar safety-net setting preferred
  • Strong clinical skills and expertise in managing a broad spectrum of medical conditions
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
