Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive pre-anesthetic assessments to develop individualized anesthesia plans.
- Administer anesthesia, including general, regional, and local anesthesia techniques, and monitor patient responses during surgery.
- Manage anesthesia-related complications and emergencies with confidence and expertise.
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education to stay abreast of the latest advances in anesthesia practice.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Massachusetts.
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program.
- Certification as a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
