The ARRA Group, a distinguished healthcare recruitment consultancy firm, is collaborating with our Treatment Center Client to hire a PMHNP-BC experienced in Substance Abuse Disorder (SUD), Addiction and Detox.  Our Client provides in-home recovery services and is dedicated to helping patients overcome substance use challenges. 

The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner will utilize evidence-based therapies to combat addiction effectively and ensure a lasting recovery for patients.   Providing telehealth services,  the PMHNP-BC will need to be certified in one or more of the following states: CT, GA, IN, ME, NH, RI, FL, KY, MA, OH, VA, NY. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct detailed telehealth psychiatric evaluations for individuals with substance use disorders.
  • Develop and manage individualized treatment plans, focusing on medication-assisted treatment (MAT) such as Suboxone.
  • Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans to optimize recovery.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mental health therapists and primary care providers, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Participate in rotating after-hours phone coverage for urgent clinical needs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution.
  • Current RN licensure and Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in on or more of the following states: CT, GA, IN, ME, NH, RI, FL, KY, MA, OH, VA, NY.
  • Current Buprenorphine Waiver/Suboxone Waiver/X-Waiver.
  • Experience with dual diagnosis (mental health and substance use).
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.
  • Dedication to staying current with evidence-based practices in addiction medicine.
