The ARRA Group, a boutique healthcare recruitment firm, has partnered with a well-regarded and well-known Connecticut healthcare system to seek a Lead Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician  (LCSW, LPC, LADC, LICSW, LMFT) focused on improving the lives of their clients and their community.

This Lead BHC opportunity is perfect for a candidate seeking more leadership experience for professional growth or someone looking to pass along their expertise and mentor a new generation of mental health clinicians.  Treatments at this facility include Residential, Outpatient, Mental Health, Adult Addiction, Medication Assistance Close to Home, and Teen Addiction. 


Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) alongside the Clinician Manager

  • Act as a resource for the BHC team regarding internalized and externalized child, adolescent, or adult conditions

  • Mentor and support therapists and counselors as needed; lead by example or evaluation and pro-actively engage through education and other resources

  • Assist with quality improvement projects and program development within the department

  • Through individual and group therapy sessions, compassionately encourage patients and families to discuss emotions or experiences in a safe and encouraging space

Requirements

  • LCSW, LICSW, LMFT, LPC, or LADC in the state of Connecticut

  • Masters Degree Required

  • Experience working within psychiatry including child, adolescent, and adult

  • Experience in substance abuse and group therapy treatment 

  • Familiarity with supporting and supervising clinicians is a plus!
