Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional psychiatric nursing care using evidence-based practices and cutting-edge interventions.
- Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments, formulate nursing diagnoses, and create individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and monitor responses, collaborating closely with the medical team to ensure holistic treatment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design and implement innovative treatment strategies that integrate traditional methods with emerging therapies and technologies.
- Respond effectively to crises, employing de-escalation techniques, risk assessment, and coordination of emergency interventions.
- Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and self-management strategies.
- Maintain accurate and thorough electronic health records, documenting patient progress, interventions, and outcomes.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN Nursing Degree is a plus
- Current RN license in the state of Massachusetts
- 1+ years clinical nursing experience
